This Sunday May 19th I spent my afternoon in Vanier for a dart tournament in support of the Miss Teen Canada – World charity, Free the Children.  There was a lot of laughs, dart throwing, and socializing.  I threw my first dart today(and impressed myself with my mad skills, lol).  With registration fees, 50/50 draw and raffle ticket sales I surpassed my minimum requirement for money raised for Free the Children! Yay!! Pretty good for my first Free the Children event!  Hopefully many more to come!  A big thank you to Linda and Judy for organizing the event for me, and thank you to Diane for her energy with collecting the donations. But most of all, to the dart players for spending their afternoon with me.  It was great meeting all of you!
